ELD 63. The art of devotion. Archetypes: The Warrior.

ree

Imagine a Warrior, a Samurai.

A person living by extremely strict (discipline = freedom) guidelines in relationship to what a good/moral Samurai would do.

Inside of the Warrior is an inbuilt guidance system guiding the behaviours and habits.

A true Samurai eats certain foods, trains every day and lives by the code of the Samurai.

That is also in us.

If we ask and listen, sure enough there is a voice inside carrying a deep knowing as to what our path is. I'm defining "path" as a set of actions to turn into habits.

What food?

How is time spent?

Exercise?

Effort?

Lifestyle?

Controlling the controllables.

I would argue a true Samurai would only truly sleep well at night if he knew via his actions that he was indeed a Samurai.

Maybe our anxiety isn't such a bad thing? Maybe it's a guide. Something calling us to step forward. Maybe it's our inner Samurai begging for a different set of actions.

We must define this ourself, for only we know.

Only we can feel our own alignment/misalignment.

Our own fulfilment awaits... if the call is answered.

Oh hey there it's meeeeee.

Yo so i'm sitting here writing this from the position if being 12 days into completing a set of actions, those actions being:

  1. Whole foods only, literally nothing heavily processed (but greek yoghurt and Tasty cheese.) Fruit, meat, eggs, maple syrup, honey, salad, veggies, coffee, potatoes and other root vegetables, rice, berries, nuts (home roasted plain only)

  2. Practices: Breathwork, 10 minute Meditation, Vacuum Bell therapy, Active Whiteboarding Micro Actions work flow, writing out a power-list 5 things to achieve (Practices being one of them along with this list)

  3. Reading 5 pages of a personal development book (I know cliche, but fuck it it works on your mindset helping you stay locked in.)

  4. An active duolingo lesson (I'm learning Portuguese)

  5. Daily Movement (10 Minute intentional mobility session daily and as minimum)

  6. Active Whiteboarding Micro Actions workflow

  7. My phone not in the bedroom at night

These are some of the foundational things I can feel or believe that are right for me for my mental, physical and spiritual health.

Over time we build an inner fire that grows.

This is the process of installing trust in ourself.

Trust means life opens up.

This to me is the biggest act of self love.

I never regret these periods of being "Locked in" and I truly hope to just keep it going. It feels like a quest, the warriors path, the life of a Samurai.

life is some sort of game and we get to choose the rules.

You playing? (I sometimes don't, but come around once again.)

Let's live x

Was playing this tune while writing this, you may enjoy it too.

Much love
