What do you enjoy?
More directly, what do you actually do?
That Is your Unique Curiosity and Expression...
What am I getting at here:
I believe the old paradigms of 9-5 and hating your work life are over (if you enjoy your 9-5 props to you, I'm speaking from my experience). This ties into finding our own curiosity's and expressing them. That is why social media is here and that's what we can all use it for! To express, WHATEVER it is, sending your truth out into the world and doing what you love at the same time.
I hear a lot of talk about how things are saturated and so on, but this is fundamentally the wrong view. First off, who gives a fuck? Your expressing what you enjoy, "saturated" or not, that's the reason to do it.
Secondly, no one is you... No one will do what you do in the unique combination of ways in which you do it. So again, regardless of "saturation" the world is fundamentally abundant and NO ONE can do what you do because no one is you.
For example my Unique Curiosity and expression is based around:
Art/Design/Creativity
Movement/Human Body stuff/Human Optimisation
Philosophy/Spirituality
And so that is what I make content around, because it's shit I ACTUALLY do and am interested in. I believe this is also where I should keep creating my business around so I can do what I love for a living and not have to "work" the traditional 9-5.
And so this is currently what I'm trying to learn: Dan Koe explains this really well
Dan Koe's content has helped bring a lot of clarity to what i'm doing, definitely worth checking out.
This bring me to my final point:
Joe Rogan and all these other people seem to be expressing themself online completely which leads to a level of freedom in their own life. They are expressing their Unique Curiosity, they are being who they actually are with the reward of not having to be anything different in the real world.
What is your Unique Curiosity? How could that play out?
Learn, share, play, grow.
We're all in this together doing our best, may as well pursue what we enjoy. I wish you all the best on unpacking your adventure.
(P.S not everyone needs to make content, i'm essentially writing this letter to myself trying to solve my problems and share that process.)
Much love - Hunter
