No one's coming to save me. Breath-work how to:

I personally love this quote, it is the deepest truth. Yes its important to speak up, and talk about your "issues", but at the end of the day, no one is going to pull you out or bring your forward. Shout our Rob and Dana Linn Bailey for the concept:

So... now what?

Well, as always I can only speak on what I'm working on:

  • Im financially not where I want to be.

  • I'm not doing what I love for a living (yet.)

  • I find my heart and lungs play up sometimes and have permanent back pain.

  • The list goes on and on.

ALL of this is on me. Only I can earn more, only I can put in the work to reach my dreams, only I can help my pain, and only I can take the steps to overcome it all. No one is coming to save me... and no one even cares. Mummy isn't coming.

Sure it sucks, but once you accept and surrender to this idea then the grind to fix it all is a literal game and you get to be the character. So play the game, pick the controller up and accept where you’re at.

Practicality:

Actively looking into pain points every day as a practice I believe is essential to manage our ability to have our own back. This for me looks like breath-work paired with a question or prompt.

For example before I do my breath holds during Wim Hof, I think about something that I'm struggling with and actively choose to let it go. "Surrender" is what I repeat in my head when feeling stuck.

Breath work being the tool of choice for me. Now this is a personal preference, but it may also serve you. Here's some links to my favourite practices:

Finally I like to use breath-work as a sort of hypnosis as well. I believe when we are in these altered states we are more susceptible to positive change, during this practice the tool comes in the form of music.

I love to throw on some good house music, Ram Dass or Alan Watts infused music, or Lukis Mac affirmation tracks. Heres the link to my playlist where the bangers are stored:

I wish you all the best in dealing with everything you have to deal with. Use the tools of breath-work to help you move past all the bullshit your hanging onto in your life.

Sometimes it's hard, but we got this! Much love

-Hunter
